Radon Shield

Radon ShieldRadon Shield is a hybrid, radon-resistant polymer, specially designed to adhere to damp or dry basement floors, making it excellent for sealing cove joints and concrete floor cracks against radon and moisture infiltration.

Radon Shield possesses excellent moisture bonding characteristics to a wide varity of materials and substrates. Radon Shield has excellent UV resistance and can be applied on exterior as well as interior surfaces.

It is packaged in an aluminum 10.5 oz. cartridge to maximize shelf life of the moisture-curing polymer. Radon Shield's coverage is 11 to 13 lineal feet per cartridge (of 3/8" bead).

Radon Shield Application

1. Clean area around cove/crack with wire brush.

2. Use a shop-vac or oil free compressed air to remove dust/dirt from area to be repaired.

3. Remove ring pull tab from bottom of the RadonShield 10.5oz aluminum cartridge.

4. Puncture foil seal on top of cartridge.

5. Cut included injection nozzle, to width of crack to be sealed.

6. Attach nozzle to RadonShield cartridge.

7. Insert RadonShield cartridge into a standard caulk gun.

8. Apply bead of RadonShield to cover width of crack and, if desired, smooth with trowl.
