Works great for repairing spalls and cracks in concrete floors and slabs, including driveways, patios, garage floors, and basement floors. It also stops additional damage. The repaired area can be put into service in as little as 60 minutes of application.

Extremely low viscosity allows deep penetration into concrete.

Small Concrete Floor Crack Repair Made Easy

Concrete Floor Crack Needle DispensersNeedle dispeners may be purchased with Emecole 555 (also included with Emecole's Slab Repair Kit). Needle dispeners accommodate small cracks where chasing with a grinder may not be suitable. A luer lock hub design makes it easy to connect to all Emecole static mixers. Emecole 555 can be added directly into the crack.

Preparation for concrete floor and slab crack repair with sand

Concrete must have a minimum 28 day cure prior to application. Clean the cracked area to be injected. For optimum appearance, open up the crack a minimum of 1/4” wide by 1/4” deep using a crack chasing diamond blade. Vacuum out the crack to clean out any loose debris. The area must be dry. Clean the surface and remove all unsound concrete, dust and debris. Prepare surface using a twisted wire wheel for spalls. Cut perimeter of damage with dry diamond blade. Fill opening with silica sand. Apply E555 onto the sand, letting resin completely penetrate and wet the sand.

Application: Work the repair area quickly. Screed to finished grade and allow to set. For better finished repair surface, “over fill” the crack. Allow it to set and grind using a grinder fitted with a fine grit wheel. Work in circular motion to grind/smooth to finished grade.

Limitations: Do not use on wet surfaces or expose part A to moisture. This product is moisture sensitive. Product will bond damaged slabs together and may stop movement. Not intended for use where substrate movement is required, such as in control joints.
