A Healthy Home Starts with a Dry Basement and Crawl Space
Whether the basement is finished or regularly occupied, it is an important component within the home and its value. A basement with excess foundation seepage, cracking, flooding and mold is a serious detriment to its value and air quality.
When we advocate for creating a healthy whole home environment, we believe that initiative should begin from below-grade. Today’s water, moisture and soil gas concerns can turn into tomorrow’s mold and poor indoor air quality problem. With at least 50 percent of the home’s air originating from either the basement or crawl space, it becomes apparent how a wet and problematic below-grade space affects the upstairs living area. From our vantage point, that puddle of water on the basement floor is so much more than just an annoying nuisance.
The home is one of the most important investments one can make. With over 30 plus years of product development and application expertise, our customers are empowered to confidentially and permanently protect that investment – from the bottom up.
