Spring Loaded High Performance Dispensing Gun
The Emecole Metro Jake 300 Dispensing Gun is equipped for Emecole Metro’s extensive selection of low pressure injection epoxies and polyurethane materials, in addition to our surface seals and carbon fiber product installation epoxies. The Jake 300 is equipped to dispense cartridge size combinations of 300/300 (1:1) or 300/150 (2:1)
The Jake 300 introduces maximum manual power coupled with continuous flow for the dispensing of single and dual cartridge systems, comparing favorably with air-powered counterparts in performance (plus being lighter, easier to handle, and less costly).
The Jake 300 utilizes a high performance trigger mechanism which actuates a compression spring. Together, they extend the force which results in the continuous flow of material from the cartridges(s) through the static mixer. This continuous flow overcomes mixing problems which may otherwise occur in systems using static mixers. These problems typically arise from the pulsating flow resulting from the use of conventional trigger mechanisms as the sole source of power. The force generated by the spring mechanism can also be adjusted to best shift the flow and power requirements of specific application simply by changing spring tensions.
The drive rod and push rods in the Jake 300 are in-line. This optimizes the power generated by the trigger mechanism and eliminates twisting of the system, associated with push rods being not in-line with the drive rod. The Jake 300 can be adapted to any ratio and cartridge size associated with cartridges offered by Plas-Pak (Ratio-Pak and System II). This is accomplished simply by changing plungers. The four-rod design allows for ratio changing simply by switching to appropriate plunger sizes. No adjustment of rod re-positioning is needed. The additional push rod also enhances uniform distribution of force on the cartridges, making all repair jobs more efficient for basement waterproofing and concrete crack repair professionals.
With the appropriate plunger combinations, the Jake 300 will also accommodate cartridge combinations of 300/75, 150/150 and 150/75. The additional plungers are conveniently stored right under the bottom side near the handle. The Jake 300 spring assisted versions are also available to dispense one component cartridges (or single cartridge systems such as Sem-Kits or Tech-Kits). Designing the Jake 300 for other styles than “RatioPak” or “System II” are possible.
